What Is This Site?
Imposter Game Generator is a free, browser-based social deduction game. Everyone in the room sees the same secret word — except one player, the imposter. Give one-word clues, debate, and vote: can you find the imposter before they guess the word? It works with 3 to 20 players on a single phone or tablet, with nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
How It Works
Open the site, pick your player count, word categories, and a discussion timer — the generator deals fair role cards automatically. Pass one device around so each player can peek at their card in private, give one-word clues in turn, then stop the timer and vote on who the imposter is. The whole round takes about five minutes, and every game deals a fresh secret word.
Why Is It Free?
Because party games are better when everyone can just join in. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising, which covers hosting and lets us keep improving the word bank and the game experience. No accounts, no paywalls, no downloads — just pass the phone and play.
